This is a non-profit group of knit and crochet enthusiasts who stitch for charity several times per year. For information on how you can contribute or participate, click below. Thank you!
We are just starting out and are not for profit. All donations would be strictly used for the purposes of Chemo Caps for OHSU Knight Cancer Institute in Beaverton, OR, NICU Blankets for Doernbecher's Children's Hospital or Scarves for the Homeless of Beaverton. If you have a preference, please indicate such on your donation and we will be sure to use it for that specific purpose.
Please send yarn donations to: Heartfelt Stitchery, Khrissi Satterfield, 5476 SW Alger Ave #13, Beaverton, OR 97005 Thank you for your donation!

Who doesn't like cash? All cash donations will be used to purchase yarn, knitting needles and crochet hooks, and any necessary notions. Be sure to include in the notes section this is for Heartfelt Stitchery AND which event you wish to participate in (Chemo Caps, NICU Blankets, Scarves for the Homeless. or all of the above). Your donation is greatly appreciated!
Guidelines we are required to follow for both Chemo Caps and NICU Blankets (30"x36"):
SCARVES & COWLS, SOCKS & GLOVES: Since these are not for cancer patients or babies at risk, feel free to stitch up anything soft, warm & beautiful. Just keep in mind, these folks do not have access to regular laundry care and when they do, everything tends to get washed in hot water and dried on high heat.
Please send items to: Heartfelt Stitchery, Khrissi Satterfield, 5476 SW Alger Ave #13, Beaverton, OR 97005 Thank you for your contributions

Check out the links in our Wish Lists or look for DK (3), Worsted Weight (4), or Chunky (5) yarns in Cotton, Bamboo, a blend of the two, or blended with cashmere, acrylic, nylon, or polyester.
Absolutely NO metallic/sparkle, chenille, or glitter, nothing itchy. To test for softness, do not rely on your hands, brush the yarn under your chin, if it's at all scratchy, don't get it. It must be machine washable and dryable.
If using wool, be sure it's Superwash MERINO and indicate such along with washing/drying instructions on a label or tag attached with a safety pin - these sensitive patients may have wool allergies. The Superwash Merino can also be blended with cashmere, acrylic, polyester, nylon, bamboo, or cotton.
